Aquagraph

Aquagraph is formed by a reaction of silver particles in a light-sensitive photo emulsion with the stream of water and developer at the same time. Darkening imprints are instantly visible following the specific trajectory of the stream. In traditional darkroom printing, water is used as a stop bath because it interrupts the image’s darkening. In this experimental technique, water causes and ends the darkening simultaneously, so the part of the creative element is left to fortuity.
